Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) can help you recycle
your used portable rechargeable batteries and old cell phones. Click

recycling. Hint, use the zip code and "within miles" search
option. For Wakefield residents: Hart's Hardware in
Wakefield, Radio Shack in Stoneham, and Home Depot all accept
rechargeable batteries.

IMPORTANT! All fluorescent bulbs
contain at least a small amount of mercury. They are safe to use, but must
be disposed of properly.
For Wakefield Residents: Covanta Haverhill, Inc. sponsors FREE mercury recycling
drop-offs at the Nahant Pit. The first one this year was on Wednesday April 25th from 10:00 am to noon. There will be three more
scheduled during the year.
