WCAP members Sherri Carlson, Steve Shoap, and Wendy Dennis attended the community meeting with Congressman John Tierney at the Wakefield library on June 23rd. Congressman Tierney was happy to hear of our new group!

WCAP had many visitors at its booth and hybrid car exhibit at Wakefield's Festival by the Lake on June 16, 2007.

Wakefield Rail to Trails
This advisory group is working to bring about the conversion of the abandoned MBTA rail line from the Junction in Wakefield, MA through Reedy Meadow in Lynnfield as a linear park by working with the ReedyMeadow Foundation, bicyclists, walkers and environmentalists in the plan to develop an area to be enjoyed by all.

Wakefield resident Jean Anderson, gardener extraordinaire, offers this wonderful site for all your gardening needs and interests.  Jean is a strong advocate of composting and organic gardening and offers classes, plant sales, garden tours and consultations.
